2010 is finally here. Old things are past away and all things have become new. This is the year of Kingdom, Power, and Glory. What does this mean?
1 Chronicles 29:11 (NLT)
“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.”
Psalm 145:11 (NLT)
“They will speak of the glory of your kingdom; they will give examples of your power.”
Kingdom means spiritual thinking. God’s kingdom comes with God consciousness. It is a kingdom that interacts with the One True God. Our mind must be set on things above and not on things of the earth.
Power means supernatural power in you. Jesus said,
Luke 17:20-22 (NIV)
”...The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.”
Many churches have forfeited the demonstration of God’s power and have allowed eloquence to replace the power of the supernatural. But God is raising up a generation of believers who will walk in the supernatural. Our message isn’t with clever and persuasive speeches but must be in the Spirit with supernatural demonstration and power!
Glory means a physical manifestation of God’s presence. The Glory is a result of the believer’s faith to create an atmosphere for the supernatural. But with God’s Glory comes two elements: Blessing for those who submit to the Lordship of Jesus; Judgment for those who resist God’s Will.
This year there will be an increase of the infilling of the Holy Ghost! Many will turn their eyes to Jesus. They will see God’s Kingdom, Power, and Glory reflected in the Church. May we bow in submission the Will of Jesus. May we grow in His grace!
